Important Information

An incident deductible is AUD 3000.00 including tax.
Car Theft Franchise is AUD 3000.00 including tax.

Collateral at the front desk

A car rental company is required to provide a deposit of AUD 3000.00 upon receipt of the car. The mortgage will be returned after the end of the lease, if all conditions are fulfilled.

Mileage / Kilometers

Your rental includes an unlimited number of free miles.

Age requirements

The minimum rental age for this car is 18 years.

Getting a car

Passport or ID is required.
An international driver’s license is required if the national driver’s license is not printed in English.

Payment methods

The primary driver must have a credit card in his / her name when picking up the car. The card must have sufficient funds available to cover the amount of the deductible / down payment (which will be blocked on the card during the rental).

Cash and debit cards are not accepted.

Insurance

Basic Insurance (Free):
  • Renter pays full damage costs.
  • In accidents: 50% paid by renter, 50% by other party
Full Insurance (10€/day)
  • If renter is not at fault: pays nothing.
  • If at fault: pays only 5% of damage cost.
  • Total loss: renter pays only 5% of car’s value.
Insurance Conditions
  • Police report is required.
  • Not covered: tires, rims, underbody, interior, radio.
  • Negligence or rule violations void insurance.

Mileage Policy

Allowed Mileage

  • The number of kilometers included in the rental is specified in the contract, depending on the package agreed upon by both parties (e.g., 200 km/day or unlimited mileage).

  • If the rental is based on limited mileage, the renter must not exceed the agreed distance.

Excess Mileage

  • In the event of exceeding the allowed mileage, an additional charge will apply for every extra kilometer, according to the company’s rate (e.g., 1.5 MAD/km).

  • The mileage is calculated based on the odometer reading at the beginning and end of the rental period.

Odometer Tampering

  • Any tampering with or disabling of the odometer is strictly prohibited.

  • If such manipulation is discovered, the contract will be considered void, and the renter will be held financially liable. Legal action may also be taken.

Fuel Policy

Fuel Level at Pickup

  • The vehicle is delivered with a certain fuel level, as indicated in the rental agreement (typically “same to same” or “full to full”).

  • The renter agrees to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as received.

Refueling Charges

  • If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than required, the renter will be charged:

    • Fuel cost at 10 MAD per liter, plus

    • A refueling service fee of 200 MAD (all taxes included).

  • The missing amount of fuel will be calculated based on the difference between the starting and return levels.

Wrong Fuel Type

  • If the renter refuels the vehicle with the incorrect fuel type, they will be held responsible for:

    • All repair costs resulting from the misuse, and

    • A minimum charge of 2500 MAD, deductible from the security deposit.
